Having worn all 3 of these masculines, I felt obliged to give Zara a nod of recognition. I have bottles of Ambar and Sandalo. Vetiver I have sample worn and still have a healthy amount left to revisit.
The best of the trio is Ambar. Vetiver is next with Sandalo third. Ambar is surprisingly good with exceptional longevity for an EDC concentration. It's a fairly rich amber with anamalic tendencies. It's linear...and it's supposed to be. Fans of straight up amber scents really should try this.
Vetiver isn't of the earthy or nutty variety. It's a soapy vetiver, borderline synthetic but very wearable. Quite a few vetivers in this genre are harsh and almost caustic.Zara however is a toned down version, linear and possesses mediocre sillage and longevity.
Sandalo is a synthetic aquatic creation with a very low key wood accord. It's modern and clean with sub-par sillage and longevity.
These fragrances are very economical and come in 50ml all the way up to 200ml bottles. I recommend that next time you pass by a Zara location, stop in and at least try the Ambar. I doubt you'll be disappointed by either the scent or the price point.
