Sergio Soldano Black
A lemon note soon infiltrates this trio with a hint of grapefruit peeking out from behind the pine. The note progression seems to follow no rhyme or reason, nor does the listed florals of jasmin and geranium have any impact on this scent.
This is a fougypre and I find it strange and dispassionate. It feels as if Soldano created this with the ingredients he chose just because he could. The base has an all-star chypre cast, yet it never unfolds like the ingredients listed should. Any masculine with amber, cedar, moss, musk, tonka and vetiver should kick ass. Soldano's base barely has a pulse.
