Worth Pour Homme Haute Concentration

When someone wished they could smell a classic fougere for a reference point, this is one of a few that they should sample.

This is a slightly green leather scent with quite a few things going on. For one, it's strong, it's masculine yet possesses a powerful clean aura at the same time. What I like about Haute is that the fougere essence never overtakes this fragrance. It's present for support, but leaves room for the other notes to unfold.

A green citric opening with lavender bordering on soapy. Fern and pine from the heart accord join up with rosemary to produce a semi-spicy green watermark on Worth. It never gets too green and the same goes for the woody floral duo. They share the stage and the volume is commensurate with the amount. This is a Haute concentration after all.

Leather and fir in the base continue this subtle green. The moss and cedar seem to shove amber and tonka to the back of the line. If there's anything I would change in this, it would be a more pronounced amber note. However, Worth Haute is a classic fougere and must-have for collectors.

  1. This really is an amazing scent - rich, invigorating, classy and distinctive.
It's strong and virile, yet never overpowering. Longevity and sillage are great and it definitely makes a favorable impression on the opposite sex : ) The new version in the plain blue box is a big disappointment compared to the Haute Concentration - Glad I stocked up!
