Creed Royal Water

Royal Water implements one of the better uses of peppermint I have come across. It's perfectly integrated into the initial accord of citrus.

I enjoy the the simplistic but shrewd design of Royal Water. Citrus with mint, woody basil and then sweet anamalics. It's a formula that works in this scent. The opening accord has very good longevity and only gives way to a subtle, spicy wood when it's good and ready.

The base of ambergris and musk never dominate this fragrance. They play important supporting roles and are the frame which the others are hung. This masculine is fresh and invigorating. It's not meant to do anything but smell pleasant and clean....and it succeeds at that. The drydown is borderline phermonic while still maintaining the original vision. As always, the price point for legitimate Creed's is a hardship, but if money is not a concern, you may want to try this for spring and summer.
